My dad and all of my uncles are WWII veterans.  I am a Vietnam vet.  My uncle, Donald Dale Smith, was a member of H Company, 16th Inf. at least as late as 1943 and served through at least part of the North African campaign and was involved in the Anzio landing (oral family history).
