Nice web sight! Hi, I recently acquired a Uniform from Mr. Gleason Fetterhoff (1st. ID ASN:33131245). Claimed he was with Co. H, but unknown if he was with 16thIR, 18thIR or 26thIR. In his uniform were the names of 3 other men: E.H.Moyer, Ray McFaul & John Ray Judd. From 1st ID rosters, Can anyone advise if Fetterhoff or the other soldiers was with the 1st ID, 16thIR, 18thIR or 26thIR?

My brother-in-law, Bayer Ross, was a medic with the 16th Infantry. I wrote about him -- "I Closed Too Many Eyes" available at Amazon

Hello, my name is Mary Abby Nietzel Molinaro and I am a cousin of Staff Sgt. Alfred Nietzel. In doing some family research, I came across your web site. I was wondering if anyone has a picture of Alfred or could share any details of his service life with me. Many thanks to all in our armed forces that have and continue to make our world a better place. May God continue to watch over & bless you. Best regards, Abby

I really like this website. I visit often to get updates and learn new things about the military and veterans. I have come across many other great websites that are very informative. One website is U.S. Veteran Compensation Programs (http://www.veteranprograms.com). On this website I frequently learn about the latest money available to veterans, benefits for veterans and their families, where to get discounts for veterans, and I get free things from their veteran giveaway program.
Keep up the good work. I will pass the word about your website and I will visit again. Thanks!
